Interest refund on your business loan

How the refund works

  1. Register on the corporation's portal and get the letter of intent (LOI).
  2. Take the loan from a bank that accepts the LOI; prepare the project report the bank needs.
  3. Pay every EMI on time.
  4. Upload the EMI / interest statement each period; the interest is credited to your Aadhaar-linked account.
Bank charges, penal interest and processing fees are not refunded. Late EMIs usually lose the refund for that period.

Common questions

Is there an interest refund scheme for open category in Maharashtra?

Yes. AMRUT runs an individual loan interest refund scheme for economically weaker open-category applicants, and the Annasaheb Patil Mahamandal GR of 21.11.2017 also covers economically backward applicants within the income limit. Community corporations such as Parshuram run similar schemes.

Is the interest refunded if I miss EMIs?

Generally no. The refund is paid only for instalments paid on time, based on the bank statement or EMI certificate.

Do I apply before or after the loan?

Before. For Annasaheb Patil and most corporations you first register and get the letter of intent, and then take the bank loan.
